10 Quick Easy Breakfast Ideas!

Recently, I did a poll on my Instagram story asking “what was you go-to breakfast?”! A few of the answers were eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal! A few others were nothing, water, juice because “I don’t have time”! Well friend, this changes today, because I’m sharing with you all some of my favorite quick and easy breakfast! Most of them take less than 10 minutes, some you might need to be done overnight; however, they are all still very easy to make. Therefore, keep reading to discover some new breakfast ideas!

1. Boiled eggs.

Pretty self explanatory, right?! I put the eggs on the stove as soon as I wake up, so by the time I finish getting ready for school or work, my breakfast is ready! I usually eat 2 boiled eggs and add a tomato on the side.

2. Pb and fresh strawberries Sandwich.

Instead of peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I make my own by using fresh strawberries and ditching the jelly (which 95% of the time contains a lot of chemicals, high sugar that your body doesn’t need). Literally takes 8 mins to make.

3. Overnight oats.

Again, pretty self explanatory! You prepare your oats before bed time and you leave it in the fridge overnight. In the morning, all you have to do is warm it up, or some people just eat it like that. Add fruits, PB and seeds to get the most nutrient dense breakfast!

4. Quick veggie Scrambled Eggs.

By the name, you might think that it’s going to take too much time! But hear me out! If you don’t think you have 2-3 mins to prep your veggies for the scrambled eggs, just prep it at night before bed. All you’ll have to do is sautéed the veggies in a pan then add the eggs and voila! Takes less than 15 mins!

5. Fruit salad.

That’s another breakfast that you can also do before bedtime. Just cut up some of your favorite fruits and mix them all! You can top everything with some chia seed! Leave it in the fridge overnight and grab it for breakfast in the morning!

6. Rice cake with PB and banana.

If you don’t like rice cake, you can use regular toast. If you do love it like me, just spread some Pb on your rice cake, then add some bananas and chia seed! Literally don’t even take 10 mins.

7. Avocado toast.

I remember back home, Haiti, I used to hate avocados. Silly me, right? Now they’re one of my favorite thing in the whole world. To make your avocado toast, smash the 1/2 or 1 avocado in a bowl, add seasoning (I usually go with paprika, sea salt, complete seasoning and lime), spread on some toasted whole grain bread slices. You can add seeds like hemp seeds and chia seed, as well as tomato. It takes less than 15 mins to make.

8. Yogurt with fruits.

I’m not a big yogurt lover but I have it once in a while! I think the best way to eat yogurt is by adding fruits, granola and seeds to it. It’s a very fast breakfast and can also be enjoyed as a snack!

9. Green smoothie.

Smoothies are so easy and quick to make! You can prep your smoothie bags on Sunday and freeze them for the week. In the morning, just grab a bag, throw it in the blender with your favorite drink and voila!

10. Protein shake.

If you use protein powder, you can just add a scoop of the powder in your favorite beverage and enjoy! You can also use ingredients such as hemp seeds, tofu, that are high in protein and blend them with your favorite drink!

11. Pb and banana toast.

Grab 2 slices of whole grain bread, toast them, spread peanut butter, topped with banana and chia seed! You’re all set!

12. Vegetable Egg Muffin.

I haven’t make those in ages and they’re one of my fav breakfast. I recommend that you do these while you’re meal prepping on Sunday, or you can just prep the veggies the night before. To make, sautéed veggies and add in a cupcake tray, lastly, add your seasoned eggs. Put in the oven for about 7-10 mins and enjoy when ready!
