At Home Workout Ideas
It is though to stay motivated to workout while social distancing. Therefore, I’ve come up with some fun “At home workout ideas” for you to stay active… Well, they’re not really workouts but virtual places where you can find a bunch of at home workout ideas to help you stay fit and sane during “quarantine”. Let’s jump right into them…
Use FREE workout apps
There are tons of workout apps that you can use to get your workouts in. Some of my favorite apps are: Nike training – you’ll find workouts by some celebrities and models. It’s like working out with your virtual personal trainer. They have different levels and you always feel the burn. Yoga – A yoga focused app which is FREE and so easy to use. Strong – This app is a workout tracker, however, it also has a bunch of workouts with instructions. There are so many more apps out there, just find what works best for you.
Instagram really has it all when it comes to fitness. Now, with everyone staying at home because of the corona virus, a lot of athletes and fitness “influencers” have been posted a lot of at-home workouts. I do my best to post my workouts on my stories. However, I’m considering posting them on my feed @smileymaruth as well. You probably use instagram in your daily life, so do yourself a favor and use it as your virtual gym as well.
YouTube
Ol’ good YouTube! I’m sure that you’re familiar with YouTube by now! There are thousands of workout videos for all different levels so you’ll definitely find something for you! And they are free! Just go in the search bar and type “At home workout ideas” to find lots of workout videos.
My blog (right on this website)
I have so many ways for you to stay active on this blog from quick cardio, that don’t require any equipment, to nice stretches that you can do at your desk! Check out my fitness page right here! You’ll find super fun “At home workout ideas” and some motivation to keep moving!
Be creative
Be creative and try to switch up your workouts every once in a while. It’s so easy to get bored especially when you spend your days in one place, doing the same things. Hence, it’s so important to switch up your workouts. Choose one day for cardio, one day for strength training, do Zumba, do Yoga and more! You won’t regret it!
Let’s be friends on Instagram @smileymaruth , I post a lot of encouraging, motivating, inspiring words on my stories and feed. I also share my meals and workouts on there regularly.
Hope this post was informative and help you stay active during those difficult days! As always don’t hesitate to share some tips with us in the comments below! Stay safe!
