I love infused water! They are a great way to stay hydrated and they are very refreshing for the hot summer days. If you struggle to drink lots of water during the day, this post will definitely help you. Infused water is flavorful and more fun than regular water. Therefore, the delicious flavor will ”trick” you into drinking more water, which will help you stay hydrated and get in your daily water intake. I always get so many compliments on my infused water bottle, which is why I will be giving a brand new one away! I also get asked about how I infuse my water and some other related questions. Therefore I decided to share with you some fun ways to infuse my water!
Lemon water
The most common infused water is Lemon Water. I believe that everyone has had lemon infused water at least once in their life. Lemon water is very refreshing and has a few health benefits such as supporting weight loss, aids in digestion, also preventing kidney stones. For your lemon water, you can use half or a whole sliced lemon, add it to your water bar (or bottle), let it sit for 15-30 mind and enjoy. You can also let it sit in the fridge overnight, like I sometimes do, toA get the most out of your lemon infused water.
Cucumber, Lemon and Mint infused water
Another common and fun infused water is cucumber, lemon and mint infused water. This infused water promotes hydration because of all the flavors which is a great way to get your daily intake of water. To make this infused water, you’ll need water, 1/2 sliced cucumber, 1/2 sliced lemon and a few springs of mint. Add everything in your water bottle or jar and let it sit for 15-30 mind or overnight!
Rosemary and lemon infused water
A new favorite of mine is rosemary and lemon infused water. Rosemary is a very popular herb that is used for several things raging from food and drink to hair products and fragrances. I’ve been diffusing rosemary oil for over a year now and I always love its calming, relaxing effect. A few of the benefits of this evergreen herb include promoting hair growth, alleviating muscle pain, improve memory, improving digestion, prevent brain aging and so much more. To make this infused water, add two sprigs of fresh rosemary along with one sliced lemon into a water bar, then let it sit overnight in the fridge! Enjoy when you wake up in the morning!
Strawberry and mint infused water
Strawberry and mint infused water is a favorite of mine! This flavorful combination is perfect for summer! You taste both the sweetness of the strawberry and the refreshing taste of the mint! This infused water helps you cut on sugary store bought juice which helps you stay away from sugar/unhealthy carbs. To make your own strawberry mint infused water, simply cut some fresh strawberries in halves, get a few mint leaves and combine everything into a water bottle or a jar of water. And Voila!
Orange and Blueberry infused water
I saw the orange and blueberry infused water on my Pinterest feed and I wanted to try it. Therefore, I am trying for the very first time while writing this post. Normally, I don’t like using blueberries to infuse my water because most of the time they get too mushy. For this infused water, I used frozen blueberries instead of fresh ones along with 1/2 an orange. This infused water did not last as long as the other ones because the blueberries still get mushy after a while. However, it tasted good; I could taste both the orange and the blueberries which wasn’t overwhelming.
Here you have it beautiful people! Some fun ways to infuse your water and stay hydrated during the summer! Hope you enjoyed reading this post! Let me know in the comment section which one you will try; also if you like infused water as much as I do!
